Lucky Cookie is a project that was set to life through entering the Young Designers Competition organized by Pro Carton.
For this competition, the goal was to swap out the packaging of existing everyday products, preferably products you can find at a supermarket, in small scale - but you could also make for take-away food.
After some research and a lot of sketching I figured I wanted to make packaging for cookies, as it is a dry food with a long shelf life, that can handle a container change.
I wanted to imply some kind of mechanism for easy access - and a cool feature - whit simply twisting the box open, but I realized a set of snack-bite portions would be the best answer for my design.
After having stacking lots of cookies and having many test-portions during the project I made a DXF file (I sadly lost the files when my computer broke) which I then laser cutted to get as precise a model as I could.
A visual profile and a touch of photoshop made the look complete...
Lucky Cookie is developed to both look and taste fun, yet also be available and practical while it contributes to less pollution. Easy to bring and easy to distribute.
It comes in four snack sized pockets of five cookies each: A perfect addition to when you need a little snack on the go!
